Using a CAT scan, British researches are investigating the life of Tamut, a professional singer in Ancient Egypt who lived around 900 BC. They know she was in her 30s or 40s when she died, had a poor diet, wore a wig and may have suffered a stroke. Students of the Lake Worth Classical Academy will be lucky enough to study Ancient Egypt in considerable depth in first grade, and then again in fifth grade and ninth grade.
